Cuisinart DBM-8
The Cuisinart DBM-8 is the perfect conical burr grinder for anyone who is minding their budget. It doesn’t have that high-end cache that CBM-18 has, but it does offer incredible value. Good value and a wonderful price were two common themes I came across during my research on this coffee grinder. “I don’t believe there is a better one in this price range”, is the best way one owner described it.

Cuisinart Burr Grinder
This is a burr grinder that thinks, so you don’t have to mess around with figuring out the right amount of beans to grind. You just fill the hopper up with coffee beans and adjust the setting for the number
of cups of coffee you need. It will determine the correct amount of beans to grind. The large hopper makes it very convenient; you can load up enough beans for an entire week. The DBM-8 also sports an automatic shutoff so you never have to worry about leaving it on.
While researching this product, I did come across a couple of minor complaints. A couple of people commented on how this particular coffee grinder was not the easiest appliance to keep clean. Depending on your definition of neatness, this may or may not be a problem. Another point occasionally raised concerned the noise level of the machine. Noise is kind of subjective so it’s hard to judge how valid this concern really is. All grinders are noise, that can’t be helped. Since it’s only on for a short while, I don’t imagine it will be that big a deal. What’s more important is how well it grinds coffee, and that’s where this machine really shines.
Cuisinart Grinder Prices
The Cuisinart DBM-8 is the ideal choice for anyone who wants a conical grinder at a reasonable price. It’s half the price of the company’s high-end model CBM-18. You’re going to find it very tough to get anything better in this price range. However if you can afford it, it’s worth considering. You can read my review of the CBM-18 here on CoffeeWriter.net
